Selecting the perfect Bereg tent depends on several factors: how many people you're camping with, how much gear you need to store, whether you'll be using a wood stove, and your intended activities. This guide will help you make the right choice.

Cots or sleeping mats? Sleeping capacity depends on your setup, not just the tent model. Cots generally take up more floor space than sleeping mats. Allow room for your sleeping setup, gear, and stove clearances; the capacity ranges below are not separate cot and sleeping-mat ratings.

Factors to Consider

1. Number of People

Plan around the dimensions of your cots or sleeping mats, not just the number of sleepers. Cots generally need more floor space; sleeping mats allow a different layout. Leave room for gear, movement, and stove clearances. If you'll be spending time inside during bad weather, size up for comfort.

2. Gear Storage

Winter camping requires more gear. Factor in space for sleeping bags, clothing, cooking equipment, and firewood storage.

3. Wood Stove Size

Larger tents need larger stoves for adequate heating. Check our compatibility chart above.

4. Vestibule Options

Consider adding a vestibule for extra storage, cooking space, or even a sauna setup. Available in 2m, 3m, and 4m lengths.

5. Season & Temperature

All Bereg tents are 4-season rated, but larger tents with bigger stoves provide more heat in extreme cold.
