Product Authenticity

How do I know if it is an authentic Bereg tent?

Check the logo on the tent or contact us directly. We are the only distributor in Canada and the USA that currently sells authentic Bereg tents. PFBereg is the manufacturer of the UP and CUBE tents. Please note that our accessories are not compatible with the Chinese knockoffs sold elsewhere in North America, contrary to what they may tell you.

Where is the product manufactured?

All Bereg products are manufactured in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic.

Vestibules & Accessories

Can the vestibule/sauna tent be used as a standalone?

Yes, the vestibule can be used as a standalone sauna tent with a wood stove, or it can be attached to the mini vestibule on your UP tent for additional space.

Does the vestibule have a double layer and a floor?

No, the vestibule does not have a zip-in floor. However, you can purchase an optional inner tent for the vestibule. The inner tent measures 2m × 2m and has a built-in floor.

Vestibule sizes available: 2m × 2m, 2m × 3m, and 2m × 4m. In larger vestibules, the inner tent covers only part of the space, as it's primarily designed for additional sleeping quarters.

Does the Cube verandah have a floor?

No, the verandah does not have a floor. Some customers use camper mats if they want flooring.

What is the difference between MFP and UP tents?

The UP2, 5 and 7 have two opposing doors and are to rated -40C
The MFP is rated for -25C and they have one door.
The MFP 5 is the same size as the UP-7
The MFP has a lightweight fabric shaves a few pounds for fly in Hunters or anyone prefering a slightly lighter tent.

Tent Floors

What floors come with the UP and Cube tents?

All tents come standard with a Poly-Oxford zippered floor.

Optional upgrades:

  • Winter floor: Provides tremendous insulation for cold weather camping
  • PVC floor: Extremely rugged and waterproof, ideal for wet conditions and swampy terrain

Setup & Maintenance

Should I always put out the guy lines?

Yes, always stake out your guy lines. Weather can change quickly, and if wind picks up, it can blow the tent sides inward and cause damage.

Wood Stoves

What is the burn time on a large stove?

You should get at least 5 hours of smouldering time on a large stove.

What size stove should I choose?

UP-7: Vector, Large Atom, Large Fireplace, Satellite

UP-5: Large Fireplace, Vector, Satellite, Large Atom

UP-2: Atom Medium, Vector, Satellite, Fireplace Medium

UP-2 Mini: Atom Small, Fireplace Small

Winter-Summer: Atom Small, Fireplace Small

Sputnik-3: Atom Small, Fireplace Small

Hexagon: Large Fireplace, Large Atom, Vector, Satellite

Pentagon: Medium or Large Fireplace, Medium or Large Atom, Vector, Satellite

Ordering & Payment

What happens when I place a backorder?

When you place a backorder, your credit card will be charged immediately. If you prefer not to be charged until the item is in stock, please wait to order until inventory is available.

What if my order contains backordered items?

Any order containing backordered items will be held and shipped as a complete order once all items are back in stock.

Shipping Information

How are orders shipped?

Orders are shipped via Canada Post or UPS, and tracking numbers are always provided through our online system.

How long does processing take?

Orders will be shipped within 1-2 business days unless the order contains a backordered item. In that case, the complete order will ship once stock is replenished.

Where do you ship?

We currently ship to Canada and the United States only.

Do you ship to Alaska, Nunavut, or Northwest Territories?

Yes, but additional shipping charges may apply. Please contact us with your address for a shipping quote.

International Fees & Duties

Will I have to pay customs fees or duties?

Important: Orders shipped outside Canada may be subject to brokerage fees, customs fees, tariffs, duties, and other fees imposed by your country. Bereg-Canada/Wild Coast Camping Gear Inc. is not responsible for these fees, and they are not included in your shipping charges. You are responsible for paying any such fees that arise.

If you have questions about potential additional fees, please contact your local customs office before placing your order.

Currency

What currency are prices listed in?

All products are priced in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Exchange rates are determined by your credit card company.

Returns & Warranty

What is your return policy?

All sales are final. We do not accept returns for any products.

How do I file a warranty claim?

To file a warranty claim, please provide:

  • Digital images showing conclusive proof of the defect when the product is received
  • Proof of the date of original purchase

Please note: The warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, tampering, unreasonable use, or normal wear and tear.

Cancellation Policy

Are there fees for canceling an order?

If you place an order online via credit card or PayPal and then cancel it, a 5% credit card processing fee will be deducted from your refund.

What if I cancel after the order has shipped?

If an order is canceled after it has shipped, all shipping fees will be deducted from your refund.

What happens if I refuse a package?

If you refuse a package, we will deduct the original shipping cost as well as any additional fees and return shipping charges we incur from your refund.

Are shipping charges refundable?

Shipping charges are non-refundable once the product has been shipped.
