The Bereg Octagon: Coming May/June 2026

The Octagon is Almost Here

Bereg has been working on something new and is finally ready to talk about it. The Octagon—a four-season tent that has been tested and refined for the past year—will be available in May or June.

If you've been following Bereg for a while, you know the company doesn't rush things. Every tent Bereg makes is handcrafted in Kyrgyzstan, and the Octagon has been no exception. It's been put through winter storms, summer heat, and everything in between to make sure it lives up to what you'd expect from Bereg.

Why Octagonal?

The eight-sided design does a few things really well. First, it handles wind better than you'd expect—the shape naturally deflects gusts instead of catching them. Second, you get more usable interior space without adding weight or complexity. It's one of those designs that just makes sense once you're inside it.

Bereg has also made it compatible with its wood stove systems, so you can run heat safely in cold weather. The stove jack is reinforced and positioned where it won't interfere with your setup.

What Makes It Different

Like Bereg's other tents, the Octagon is built for four-season use. That means reinforced stitching, expedition-grade fabric, and attention to the details that matter when you're actually out there. It works with Bereg's vestibule and floor systems if you want to expand your setup, but it's also perfectly functional on its own.

The octagonal footprint gives you more room to move around, store gear, or set up a stove without feeling cramped. If you've ever spent a few days in a tent during bad weather, you know how much that extra space matters.

Who It's For

Bereg designed the Octagon for people who spend serious time outdoors—winter campers, expedition groups, anyone who needs a shelter that won't quit when conditions get rough. It's also great if you're setting up a base camp and want something that can handle extended use.

Availability

Bereg is aiming for May or June, depending on production. Because each tent is made by hand, they can only produce so many at a time. If you want to be notified when they're ready to ship, reach out, and we will add you to the list.
